On 8 February, Rushanara Ali MP and Jeremy Hunt MP wrote to the Foreign Secretary urging him to reconsider cuts to bilateral aid.
In their letter the MPs raised their concerns about the recent announcement of significant cuts to the bilateral aid spending, and the disproportionate impact any cuts will have on Rohingya refugees.
Rushanara Ali MP said: "Cuts to UK overseas bilateral aid will cost lives and damage Britain's standing in the world."
