On 15 June Rushanara spoke at FCDO questions. 

Rushanara urged the Minister and Foreign Secretary to do most to support the Rohingya people.

She said that the 42% cut to aid budgets in Rohingya refugee camps will cost thousands of lives, and urged the Government to reconsider these cuts, and to support Myanmar's referral to the International Court of Justice on the grounds of genocide.
