On Monday 28 June, Rushanara Ali MP questioned Minister Quince on the cut to Universal Credit from September. 

Rushanara identified how nearly 60% of children live in poverty in Bethnal Green and Bow. Meanwhile, the cut to Universal credit is set to take away £1000 a year from millions of families this September. She urged the Government to reconsider.
