On 13 October Rushanara Ali MP took part in an important Westminster Hall Debate on Uyghur Muslims. 

She said: 

"The UK must take a stand against the human rights atrocities faced by Uyghur Muslims in China.

There must be an independent investigation so those responsible can be held to account and justice is served."
