It was a pleasure to make the closing speech at London Labour conference, held in my constituency this weekend. The stakes couldn’t be higher at the Mayoral election on 2nd May. As Sadiq Khan said in his unifying message laying out his vision for a third term to continue making London a better city for all, the stakes couldn’t be higher. Once again, it will be a choice between hope over fear. Between unity over division. Between going forward with Labour, or back with the Tories.
