London’s Air Ambulance held a press launch at the Royal London Hospital to celebrate the addition of a second helicopter to the service. The London Air Ambulance team treated almost 2000 critically injured patients on the streets of London in 2015. The introduction of a second helicopter will mean London Air Ambulance can reach up to a further 400 patients by air each year.
