On 2 December 2015 MPs voted in the Commons on whether the UK should join US-led coalition air strikes against so-called Islamic State militants in Syria.

A decade on from the 7/7 London bombings, Rushanara Ali MP today joined a service of commemoration of the lives of the 52 victims who died in the attack, and paid tribute to the heroics of emergency services on that day in 2005.

Rushanara Ali MP called on the Prime Minister to lead the international community in the domestic and international fight against extremism, as well as urging him to conduct an inquiry into how best to ensure that families, schools, mosques, internet companies and agencies are better guided to protect young from radicalisation and extremism.
