Rushanara Ali

On Wednesday 3 February, Rushanara Ali MP participated in the Urgent Question on the financial support for students during the pandemic. 

With many students relying on part-time work to sustain their studies, thousands are missing out on vital income during the national lockdown. According to National Union of Student data, 9% have been forced to use foodbanks. Rushanara demanded the Government increased the student hardship fund to end this financial precarity.
