On 2 February there was an urgent statement from the Minister on the Myanmar coup. 

Rushanara Ali MP said:

"Myanmar's Military has been allowed to act with impunity for years against the Rohingya.

This coup widens their assault on everyone. It's time for tougher, targeted sanctions and formal support for the International Court of Justice genocide prevention case."
