On 24 February, Rushanara Ali MP tabled a Parliamentary Early Day Motion (EDM) on the current political and security situation in Myanmar

Rushanara Ali MP said: 

"I’ve tabled this important EDM to condemn the current political and security situation in Myanmar at the hands of their military. The military must be stopped, and the international community must take action against them."
