On the morning of Friday 15th of September twenty-nine people were injured after a device exploded on the carriage of a London underground train at Parsons Green Station.
Following the incident, the Prime Minister raised the nation's threat level to critical. In response to the attack Rushanara Ali, Member of Parliament for Bethnal Green and Bow said:
"My thoughts are with those injured in Friday's terrorist attack at Parsons Green station. I want to pay tribute to the professionalism of the emergency services and TFL staff in responding to this horrific attack.
Londoners have shown this year that they will not be intimidated by those who seek to terrorise our city. As the capital witnesses another attack, they again have shown how they will reject such hate.
As the Prime Minister has raised the terror level to critical following the incident, I urge everyone to remain calm and to be vigilant and to report anything suspicious to the police."
