Rushanara Ali MP statement on the anniversary of Bangladesh’s Victory Day 2024.

Marking the anniversary of Bangladesh’s independence on 16th December, Bethnal Green and Stepney MP, Rushanara Ali paid her respects to those who sacrificed their lives to secure freedom and independence of Bangladesh.

Rushanara Al MP said:

“On this Bangladesh Victory Day, we honour and remember the three million who lost their lives in the struggle for freedom. On this historic day, we recognise their great sacrifice and honour their memory.”
