On Tuesday 9th March, Rushanara Ali MP spoke in the Westminster Hall debate on Covid-19 vaccine take-up rates in London.

Rushanara noted that vaccination rates in Tower Hamlets and London remain lower than the rest of England. She urged the Minister for Covid-19 Vaccine Deployment, Nadhim Zahawi, to increase the supply of the AstraZeneca vaccine to GP surgeries, pharmacies, and pop up clinics to help increase take-up and close the gap.
