On 24 February, Rushanara attended a Backbench Business Debate on the post-pandemic road map for education. 

Rushanara praised those working in schools for their commitment throughout the pandemic. She also made the case that learning environments must be made Covid-19 secure, including vaccinating all teachers as soon as possible.
