On 5 February, Rushanara Ali MP went on Sky News to discuss the new Public Accounts Committee report on Government contracts given out to private companies to provide free school meals. 

Rushanara argued that the report highlights yet another government procurement scandal. She pointed out the fact that instead of renegotiating the contract, the Government increased its value from £70m to £425m rewarding failure and causing suffering.
