On Wednesday 19 May, Rushanara Ali MP spoke to Sky news. 

Rushanara discussed the increase in cases of the Covid-19 variant first discovered in India. She outlined how the Government's failure to introduce a hotel quarantine system for arrivals from India earlier had led to the rise in infections. She also called on the Government to increase the supply of vaccines to areas with younger populations who have higher rates of infections.
