On 22 July, Rushanara Ali MP was interviewed on BBC Newsnight on the Government's lockdown restrictions ending. 

On the programme, Rushanara made it clear that the Government's approach to lifting restrictions without maintaining mandatory mask-wearing and other social distancing measures to keep infections down is reckless, dangerous and damaging to businesses and the economy.
