Rushanara has taken part in a number of media interviews about the escalating situation in Myanmar. 

In both her interviews on BBC Radio 4 and LBC, Rushanara made it clear that the Myanmar military's actions must be met with the strongest of responses from the UK and the wider international community. This includes tougher targeted sanctions, a global arms embargo and support for the ICJ genocide prevention case to protect the Rohingya and other minorities.
