On Tuesday 13 April, Rushanara Ali MP spoke in the Finance Bill debate in the House of Commons.

Rushanara outlined how the bill lacks the ambition desperately needed after the biggest economic hit in generations. She argued that much bolder action is needed to support the 700,000 unemployed young people, as well as the deep inequalities exposed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
