On Tuesday 22 June, Rushanara Ali MP questioned the Chancellor on the furlough scheme. 

Rushanara highlighted that over half a million young people are out of work, and the delay in easing restrictions has put a further 300,000 jobs at risk.

She asked the Chancellor if he would commit to extending the furlough scheme give further restrictions and the risk of a third wave.
