Rushanara publicly condemned the Prime Minister's awful comments where he attempted to shift the blame for coronavirus deaths onto the care home sector. 

She spoke about the Government’s financial schemes including the furlough scheme, where I urged the Government to make sure that people are not pushed off a cliff when the scheme ends in October. There should be targeted support for the hardest-hit sectors, to prevent the continued increase in unemployment.
