Rushanara Ali MP has expressed her strong support for a team from Stepney Green School competing in the final rounds of the Premier League Enterprise Challenge. She met the young people during a visit to Stepney Green School in her constituency.

After hearing about the team's plans to wow judges at the competition final later this month, Rushanara said:

"Both the energy and knowledge displayed by all members of the team was inspiring. I am confident that these young people will do Stepney Green School proud."

Reflecting on the skills of the team, Rushanara also paid tribute to the West Ham Learning Centre, which has nurtured the team, saying:

"As Shadow Minister for Education, I am delighted to see young people being given the opportunity to develop important business skills and employability skills which will serve them well enabling them to fulfil their aspirations in the future."
