On Monday 25th October and Tuesday 26th October, Rushanara Ali MP appeared on BBC Newsnight and Sky news to discuss the Chancellor's upcoming budget. 

On BBC Newsnight, Rushanara emphasised how the country is facing a challenging winter and needs a radical plan that ensures we grow our way out of the Covid-19 pandemic and ensure a green economic recovery. 

On Sky news, Rushanara emphasised the crucial crossroads the country is facing ahead of the budget. She again emphasised that we must grow our way out of the pandemic, and not hit poorest families hardest through Universal Credit cuts and national insurance hikes.
