Update on ESOL classes: Tower Hamlets to invest £200,000

 

I am pleased to learn that Tower Hamlets Labour councillors have announced a £200,000 boost in investment for English as a second language provision (ESOL). This adds to the total investment of over £1.75 million.  This extra funding has saved a mentoring scheme that has helped over 700 young people study at university and has saved nearly 300 ESOL places.
